Shooting Guidelines - Read Carefully
All shoots must be in full colour and preferably on location. Locations can be anything like a bedroom, kitchen, living room, warehouse or back garden. A models bedroom is usually a great place to start as they are all different and their personality is shown in the furnishings.
If you are shooting in a studio we'd prefer it not to immediately look like a studio (even a stairwell or brick wall is fine), we're going for "real world" shoots rather than a studio backdrop setup.
We like to let the photographer and the models creativity to come out so try not to get too involved with the actual shoot. We don't want any shoots that feature blood or gore and no dangerous weapons. This is partly as we want to break away from the cliches surrounding alt/gothic photography but we also have to abide by strict Visa and Mastercard regulations.
The shoot itself should be a striptease, starting fully clothed with several closeups of the models face and then continue until she is fully nude (or whatever level of nudity has been agreed). The model should be nude for at least 30% of the overall pics i.e. don't finish the shoot as soon as you have reached the end of the striptease!
If the model has distinctive tattoos then general or abstract closeups of these would be great.
Model Outfits
Photographers should advise the models to bring outfits with them that they would wear on a casual night out, they don't have to look like strippers or pornstars or even overly sexual, if the model looks hot in a pair of skinny jeans and Converse then that's what we want to see. We want our models to look as natural as possible.
We want to see the models in her outfit as well as out of it, full length shots from head to toe while the model is fully dressed as well as nude are a must.
We do not want our models to wear wigs as they tend to look very cheap however hair extensions are fine.
Picture Specs
Photos must be in HQ Tiff/HQ Jpeg or RAW and at least 3000pixels along the longest side. You can do very basic editing of the pictures, crop, colour correct, rotation etc but there must be no re-compression or resizing.
Each set must consist of at least 75 pictures. For the set to be published on the site we need at least 50 top quality pictures so it just gives us more room for manoeuvre this way.
Editing
We require no editing of the pictures, we can provide FTP for you to send them to us however we'd prefer if you burn them to DVD and mail them to us. As stated above you can do very basic editing of the pictures, crop, colour correct, rotation etc but there must be no re-compression or resizing.
Payment
We pay photographers per set. Each shoot should last 4 hours which should consist of at least 4 sets of the same model. Each set should be with a different outfit and if possible a slight change of location.
It depends on your level of experience but in general we pay you £50 each for the first 2 sets and then £30 for all subsequent sets. So if you shoot 4 sets then we pay you £160 (£50 + £50 + £30 + £30), if you manage to shoot 6 then we pay you £220 and so on. In total models earn £100 for nude or £60 for topless. Both photographers and models earn more if they shoot video as well.
Legal
For legal reasons and to keep all of us safe we need a clear and closeup pic of the models photo ID (driving license or passport) as well as a clear picture of her holding it next to her face.
Both the photographer and the model needs to sign a release form which you can download here: Photographers Release - Models Release. We cannot send out payment until we have received both of these forms.
Other than the above release form we don't tie our photographers into any sort of contract, if you work for us you can still work for whoever else you wanted.
